Youth Photography: Shots that Pop (Ages 11-16)

Go beyond snapshots and selfies. We will photograph in several locales and create pictures that grab a viewer’s attention. Improve your skills while enjoying the opportunity to explore the area. You’ll emerge with a portfolio of best shots ready to print or use in a slide show to share with family and friends.
Monday—In the Studio: Photography Basics
Tuesday—Photo Shoot: Hyannis Waterfront
Wednesday—Photo Shoot: Dowses Beach, Osterville
Thursday— Photo Shoot: Audubon Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary
Friday—In the Studio: Printing, Sharing, Critique
Please bring a camera and a flash drive to put your pictures on.

A juried artist and board member of the Cape Cod Art Association, Susan’s work has been exhibited at multiple galleries and museums in Massachusetts. Additionally, Susan leads photowalks, teaches teens and adults, and helps organize the CCAA Camera Club and Click! Photography conference each fall sponsored by the Photography Center. A retired teacher, Susan credits her former middle school students with developing her sense of humor, skill at thinking on her feet, and her ability to refrain from taking herself too seriously. Susan now devotes her time largely to digital fine art photography.
