This is a beginning to intermediate oil painting workshop (OK if you prefer acrylics). Using a basic set of supplies and a limited palette of colors, a simple step by step approach to oil painting will be reviewed… from simple drawing tips to mixing a full range of colors using a limited set of colors.

I was born and raised in Panama City, Republic of Panama ( Ispeak fluent Spanish). I joined Walt Disney Feature Animation as a character animator in 1983. I directed Oliver and Company, a full length animated feature that was released in 1988. I worked as a concept and story artist on numerous projects including; The Lion King, Fantasia, Continued and Dinosaur. I am currently a contractor at Walt Disney Imagineering as a concept artist and Animation Director. I’ve recently completed a nine year project painting original oil paintings of the Panama Canal Expansion – a nine year project. The paintings are currently hanging in the Administration Building of the Panama Canal. Additionally I am executing large-scale oil paintings chronicling the construction of our new Disney theme park in Shanghai China.
